Chandor Gardens Performance
Alice In
Wonderful Chandor Gardens
The
audience will follow the tardy white rabbit as he and Alice
visit nine vignettes performed throughout Chandor Gardens. The
vignettes are adapted from the universally recognized tales
created by Lewis Carroll; Alice in Wonderland and Through
the Looking Glass.
Actors
from Theatre off the Square will perform in full costume and
makeup.
Visitors
may stroll throughout the gardens. Additional activities
include face painting and photo opportunities.
A
fairy tale will come to life with the young and the young at
heart Saturday, April 3rd at Chandor Gardens, 711 West Lee
Street, Weatherford, TX. From 1pm to 4pm guests will
experience a fantasy world created in an internationally
recognized garden.
Throughout
the afternoon guests will share the adventures of a tardy
rabbit, friendly feline, March Hare, Mad Hatter, fussy florals,
goofy gardeners and a King and Queen of Hearts. The
characters, portrayed by actors from Theatre off the Square,
will appear and disappear around a pond, near a mountain, by a
dragon fountain, in a silver garden and along an English
bowling lawn.
Alice,
an inquisitive young girl, will pursue the white rabbit,

Mailing List
We are currently phasing out our monthly mailings through the post office and switching to email newsletters to Patrons, Volunteers, Members, and other interested parties. If you would like to be included in your email notifications of upcoming events, please contact us (see methods above) or sign our guest register located in the front lobby of the theatre.
Notifications include auditions, performance dates, workshops, and special events. Your contact information is never shared with anyone else (we’re on the list, too!)

Auditions
We hold open auditions for all of our productions. Although the method of auditioning is up to each individual director, generally the audition will include a cold reading of the script or similar material. For young children, accommodations are made for undeveloped reading skills. Please bring a resume (if you have one) and be prepared to complete an application and provide theatrical background information. A headshot will be taken by our photographer at the time of the audition. We are a community theatre and welcome new participants (actors and non-actors). Anyone wishing to participate in a production as a crew member or volunteer (other than acting) is welcome to attend auditions.
Auditions are usually held approximately 10 weeks before a show opens. Generally there are 2 nights of auditions and one night of call-backs. The Director, Assistant Director or Production Coordinator will inform cast members of their acceptance. On-site rehearsals will not begin until approximately 6 weeks prior to opening.
For specific audition dates for a particular show, please go to our Home page and click on the show in which you are interested,

Volunteers
You don’t have to be on stage to be in show business. Putting on a show takes many different talents and efforts. Our volunteers do it all!
